Respiratory Therapist

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a Clinical Care Specialist. As a key member of our respiratory therapy department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of individualized treatment plans.

• Administer various simple and complex respiratory modalities to patients, including emergency airway procedures, therapeutic gases, medications, etc., as per our Respiratory Care policy and procedure manual.
• Collaborate with medical directors, referring physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop, execute, and modify program participants' individualized treatment plans.
• Record response to individualized treatment plans and test results on patient charts when performed.
• Clean and disinfect respiratory equipment and accessories.
• Perform related duties such as assisting physicians with special procedures.
• Provide direct patient care to all patients (adolescent to geriatric) including evaluation and treatment.
• Moderate or waived point-of-care testing per CLIA guidelines.
• Help guide and develop new initiatives, policies, equipment trials, or education sessions.
• Achieve and maintain ACLS certification and respond to code blue situations.
• Precept and orientate new employees and students.
• Educate other members of the healthcare team, conduct in-services as assigned, and participate in continuing education.

$55,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
