Accounting Internship Opportunity

At Jack Link's Protein Snacks, we're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our team for the summer of 2025. As an Accounting Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience in various accounting areas, including financial reporting, general ledger management, and accounts payable.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in period and quarter-end activities, including general ledger entries and consolidations
  • Support accounts payable with invoice verifications
  • Perform accounting reviews of accruals to improve general ledger accuracy and back-end processing efficiency
  • Research and document technical accounting positions
  • Complete various Census filings

Qualifications:

  • Completed Sophomore or Junior year of college by the start of internship
  • Pursuing a BA/BS degree in Accounting
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints
  • Team player with a 'can do' attitude
  • Ability to adapt in a changing work environment
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The work environment is a plant/office setting with varying degrees of temperatures and noise levels. Exposure to manufacturing equipment movement and wet/slippery floors. However, the vast amount of work is conducted in a climate-controlled office. Travel may be required.
