Job Description
As a Registered Nurse (RN) on our Med/Surg team at Cedar Park Regional Medical Center, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our patients. We are seeking an experienced RN to join our night shift team, working on a 36-bed unit focused on direct and individualized care for patients with various surgical procedures, including orthopedic, bariatric, urology, and cardiac. You will evaluate assigned patients, plan, implement, and document nursing care, assist physicians during examinations and procedures, perform patient tests, administer medications, and promote patients' independence by establishing care goals and teaching self-care skills.
Requirements
- A minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited RN program; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Texas, or compact state required upon hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in an acute care hospital Med/Surg unit; orthopedics experience highly desired
