Job Title: MRI Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Ohio State University Hospital.

Job Summary

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. The ideal candidate will have experience in adult ICU, adult outpatient, and pediatric acute care, as well as proficiency in abdominal, female pelvis, male pelvis, chest, brain, face/soft tissue neck, hip/bony pelvis, knee, and shoulder imaging.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning the patient
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any emergencies
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and images
Requirements
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Ohio State License
  • 2 years of experience in MRI technology
Work Environment
