About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Atrium Health Charlotte. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing CT scans, operating imaging equipment, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans. Responsibilities
  • CT Scan Operations: Conduct high-quality CT scans, adhering to departmental protocols and standards, to provide accurate diagnostic images.
  • Patient Care: Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing clear explanations and addressing any concerns they may have.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues with imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Continuing Education: Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques through ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Certification: ARRT certification in Radiology, or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine, and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT scanning within one year of hire.
