FLEXIBLE LOGISTICS ROLE

We are seeking a flexible and motivated CDL A Delivery Driver to join our team at US Foods. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for delivering essential products and services to our customers while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

DAILY DUTIES

  • The role requires working varied shifts, including early morning starts, and may involve weekend work.

  • Commute times depend on the assigned route, and local deliveries may include overnights.

REWARDING WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • The expected base hourly rate ranges from $29.41 to $32.68, based on experience and qualifications.

  • Overtime compensation is available.

BROAD EMPLOYEE BENEFITS

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver orders on time and maintain high productivity.

  • Provide outstanding customer service with every delivery.

  • Unload products using a hand truck and organize items in the customer's storage area.

  • Perform repeated manual lifting of items up to 80 pounds.

  • Navigate through inclement weather conditions during deliveries.

  • Confirm delivery with customers and collect payment when needed.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Must be at least 21 years old.

  • Valid CDL Class A issued by your state of legal residence, with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.

  • No more than two traffic convictions in the last two years, no DUI convictions in the last three years, and no driver's license suspensions in the last three years.

  • A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience is required (or three months in the food and beverage delivery industry).

  • Must successfully pass a DOT physical.
