Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Elementary School Counsellor to join our team. As a Counsellor, you will play a vital role in developing and managing a counselling program that promotes positive social and academic skills for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate individual and group counselling sessions to support students' emotional and academic well-being.
- Track and report attendance, and communicate with families regarding test results, behavior intervention strategies, and overall academic success.
- Collaborate with the concussion management program and 504 plans to ensure students receive the necessary support.
Requirements:
- Colorado LPC (Licensed Professional Counsellor) certification.
- Able to complete a fingerprint and background check.
Work Environment:
The position will be based in a small school district near Colorado Springs, CO, and will involve working with two Elementary Schools. The school year is 181 days long, and the position can be set up as a Contract or Permanent opportunity depending on the candidate's career goals.
