**About the Role:**

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in our 32-bed post-operative unit at The University of Vermont Health Network. As an RN on our team, you will care for a diverse population of orthopedic patients who require high-quality care and attention.

**Unit Overview:**

The University of Vermont Health Network's post-operative unit is a collaborative environment where nurses work closely with other healthcare professionals, including Physical and Occupational Therapists, Case Managers, Quality partners, Medical Students, Residents, and Attendings. Our state-of-the-art rooms offer beautiful views of the UVM campus and Lake Champlain, creating a unique and supportive environment for patient care.

**Patient Population:**

We primarily treat post-surgical patients with conditions such as trauma, total hip & knee replacements, hip fractures, and spine injuries. Our team takes pride in providing exceptional care to each patient, prioritizing their physical and emotional well-being throughout their recovery journey.

**Professional Growth and Development:**

We encourage our nurses to grow professionally through orthopedic-specific certifications and offer opportunities to advance through our Clinical Advancement and Recognition Program (CARP). This program recognizes and rewards nurses for their expertise and dedication to delivering high-quality care.

**Compensation and Benefits:**

As a valued member of our team, you will receive a competitive salary, with an estimated range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a $20,000 sign-on bonus for full-time employees, which may be pro-rated for part-time positions. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, we prioritize work-life balance and provide a supportive work environment that fosters personal and professional growth.
