Position Overview

The role of a Case Manager at My Time Recovery focuses on orchestrating and facilitating essential services for individuals or groups facing various challenges and needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group counseling, case management, educational support, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Lead or support counseling sessions.
  • Conduct intake assessments and program introductions.
  • Assist clients in navigating public services and resources.
  • Engage in treatment planning and collaborative meetings.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of clinical activities and observations.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed within established timelines.
  • Perform Utilization Reviews as required.
  • Transport clients to appointments or community activities.
  • Manage emergencies in accordance with company protocols.
  • Serve as a positive role model for clients.
  • Coordinate care to ensure the highest standards of service.
  • Participate in staff and management meetings.
  • Execute necessary cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.

Important Note: All employees are required to maintain Electronic Health Records (EHR) in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Essential Competencies and Skills

  • Deliver high-quality counseling services within a dual diagnosis framework.
  • Establish strong rapport with clients and community partners.
  • Efficiently manage data entry tasks.
  • Comply with HIPAA regulations.
  • Adhere to ethical standards in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Licensure or certification in marriage and family therapy and/or substance abuse counseling is required for Case Managers.
  • Must possess CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • Provide documentation of TB skin test and health screening.

Knowledge Requirements

  • Familiarity with the Twelve Step Recovery Program.
  • Understanding of the Social Model detox process.
  • Proficient in data entry practices.
  • Ability to recognize signs of substance intoxication and withdrawal.

Key Skills

  • Strong listening skills and ability to build rapport.
  • Proficient in data entry and management.
