POSITION SUMMARY

The Environmental Services Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in designated areas of the facility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Thoroughly cleans restrooms, including trash receptacles, toilets, mirrors, countertops, sinks, floors, and other surfaces as needed. Replenishes toilet paper and paper towels as required.
  • Dusts, sweeps, mops, scrubs, vacuums, and sanitizes assigned areas.
  • Cleans slot machines, seating, and bases.
  • Empties wastebaskets and cleans ashtrays.
  • Wipes down windows, gaming dividers, door handles, and other frequently touched surfaces.
  • Transports waste and soiled linens to designated disposal areas.
  • Restocks paper and cleaning supplies, ensuring restroom supplies are maintained.
  • Organizes and maintains housekeeping storage areas.
  • Works efficiently and prioritizes tasks based on urgency.
  • Interacts with guests in a courteous and helpful manner, directing them to appropriate team members for further assistance.
  • Properly tags and delivers lost and found items to the Guest Safety office.
  • Adheres to performance standards, company policies, and departmental procedures.
  • Maintains regular attendance and complies with appearance standards.
  • Follows safety protocols and promptly reports any hazards to the appropriate personnel. Understands and adheres to OSHA and MSDS guidelines.
  • Supports the directives of the leadership team.
  • Assists with additional projects as assigned.
  • Exemplifies the values of Prairie Flower Casino.
  • Must be able to obtain a NON-Gaming License.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferred: 1 year of relevant cleaning experience.
  • Must be adaptable to work required shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Possesses strong guest service skills and maintains a friendly and positive demeanor in all interactions.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Regularly required to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours. Must be able to grasp, handle, or feel objects.
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms, bend, balance, stoop, and crouch. Occasional crawling, climbing, or kneeling may be necessary.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally push or pull up to 50 pounds. May need to work from ladders or lifts to clean elevated areas.
  • The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate, increasing to loud in certain areas.
  • May be exposed to a smoking environment.
