Become an Academic Coach:
Sylvan Learning Center is looking for a motivated and skilled Mathematics Coach to join our team. As a part-time instructor, you will play a crucial role in helping students achieve academic success while enjoying a flexible schedule and competitive compensation.

About the Job:
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mathematics concepts, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles. You will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans, delivering instruction, and assessing student progress. We also require a four-year degree or equivalent, as well as state or provincial teaching credentials.

Responsibilities:
  • Develops and delivers engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Provides one-on-one instruction and support to students.
  • Assesses student progress and adjusts instruction accordingly.
  • Collaborates with colleagues to share best practices and improve instruction.

Compensation:
Salary range $30-$40 per hour, depending on qualifications. Our center is open the following days & times: Monday - Thursday: 4pm-8pm, Saturday: 9am-1:00pm.
