Position Overview:
Benedictine is in search of a dedicated Food Service Operations Leader to enhance our culinary team.


The Food Service Operations Leader plays a crucial role in managing the procurement of food and supplies for the culinary department, mentoring new staff, and ensuring compliance with the quality standards established by regulatory bodies for our residents.

This role also involves participating in food preparation alongside the culinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Mentor and train new culinary staff, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations set forth by governing authorities.

2. Cultivate a positive and engaged atmosphere within the culinary team.

3. Assist in kitchen and dining operations as needed.

4. Manage the ordering of food and kitchen supplies, collaborating with approved suppliers.

Qualifications:
Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in food service operations.

Preferred:
• Completion of an accredited food safety sanitation program or willingness to complete within the initial 90 days of employment.
