About the Role
As a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse at TotalMed, you will play a vital role in promoting recovery and facilitating positive outcomes for patients in a behavioral health setting. With your expertise and compassion, you will provide individualized care to patients with mental health conditions, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health status, including psychiatric symptoms, behavioral patterns, and risk factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans that incorporate therapeutic techniques and interventions to promote stability and recovery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers, to coordinate care and support patients' overall well-being.
• Advocate for patients' rights and facilitate psychoeducation for patients and their families, promoting a supportive environment conducive to healing and recovery.

Required Qualifications:
• Current RN license
• BLS certification and other required certifications
• 2 years of recent experience in behavioral health
• Strong communication and adaptability skills
