Job Summary

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy services to patients in an acute care setting, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of physical impairments and disabilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve patient goals and improve functional outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between healthcare settings.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and stay current with industry developments to provide best-in-class care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure clear understanding of treatment plans and progress.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care setting.
  • Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
