Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Manager - .Net/Winforms/React to join our team. As a key member of our IT Management Team, you will be responsible for managing a team of .NET developers, assisting with development, applications support, building standards, and mentoring. You will work closely with business analysts and project managers to build requirements and deliver based on cadence plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of .NET developers, providing direction, delegating, and removing obstacles to get work done and align with organizational goals.
  • Assist with managing custom-developed order management software releases to our partners, Microsoft-based services, including Azure cloud services.
  • Develop and DevOps standards documentation content and organization.
  • Participate as a key build function member of an IT Management Team.
  • Responsible for financial management, including AOP, budget management, and forecasting.
  • Responsible for People Management, including work plan development, performance management, and people development.
  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships and resources to ensure project success.
  • Provide and present Management Reports on team performance, including metrics, deliverable status, etc.
  • Communicate status to senior management and maintain documentation associated with application, assets, tools, standards, and team.
  • Accountable for training, usage, and goal attainment for the team.
  • Deliver results on both agile and waterfall projects.
  • Ensure team adherence to all IT processes, policies, and procedures, including IT Security.
  • Engagement with business stakeholders in their respective function or business area.
  • Governance/Leadership for all program/projects executed or supported by their teams.

Requirements

You should have experience and familiarity with the following:

  • C# 8.0 or higher, ASP.NET MVC, and Razor.
  • Winforms and WPF.
  • .NET Framework 4.7.2 and newer (including Entity and Core Frameworks).
  • Front End Technology (Javascript, HTML, React, etc).
  • NuGet Package management.
  • Code repository, CI/CD, DevOps, and Build/Release Management and Best Practices.
  • Experience with Azure cloud services and its overall capabilities with .NET applications.
  • Microsoft SQL Server Databases (including Azure SQL).
  • Familiarity with RESTful and WebAPIs (JSON and OAuth2), IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS systems.
  • Familiar with security best practices for development and operations.
  • Familiar with agile and scaled agile methodologies.
