About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled NICU Respiratory Therapist RRT CRTT to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will provide high-quality patient-centered care to our critically ill neonates and infants.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and document patient assessment, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for, and response to, respiratory therapy.
  • Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
  • Assist with placement of artificial airways and initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
  • Monitor patient for therapeutic response and notify provider and intervene as appropriate in the event of an unintended response.
  • Assist with transportation of ventilator-dependent patients and respond to emergent patient situations.

Requirements

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
  • STABLE must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
  • State Registered Respiratory Therapist, or Licensed Certified Respiratory Therapist (LCRT), or RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP).
