Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in the operating room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal care

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in an ambulatory surgical or general operating room setting
  • Current RN license in hand when applying for state licensure
  • Cerner EMS experience preferred
  • AHA certification (Instructor, Provider, and RQI acceptable)

Schedule Information

  • Shift choice: 3x12 at 6:30a-7p, 4x10 at 6:30a-5:30p, or 5x8 at 6:30a-3p
  • Daily average census: 35-40
  • Call requirement: varies, average 3-6 days in a 28-day cycle
  • Weekend requirement: varies, average every 4th or 5th weekend
