Under the guidance of a licensed radiologist, operates dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) and other densitometry equipment to perform scans of the lumbar spine, proximal femur, and/or forearm, measuring bone density and aiding in the diagnosis and management of osteoporosis and other metabolic diseases. Exercises technical judgment to obtain high-quality images and measurements, and provides functional direction to assigned staff, including coordinating workflow, assigning priorities, training, and orienting new staff members.

Two years of clinical experience as a Bone Density Analysis Tech working in a high-volume practice with experience of working with Lunar Hologic Bone Density machines, RIS, and iSite.
Notes:This is a full-time Senior DEXA position. Current hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm at Otay Mesa MOB. Shifts, hours, and/or locations may vary based on operational need.
