Domino's Delivery Driver Job Description

At Domino's Franchise, we're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting customers' orders in a safe and timely manner, providing excellent customer service, and adhering to assigned routes and road safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and load orders, ensuring all extras are included
  • Route orders efficiently using the Domino's routing system
  • Transport hot and cold items safely and securely
  • Collect money from customers and provide correct change
  • Collect signatures for credit card and debit card transactions
  • Keep track of cash and receipts, ensuring balances at the end of the shift
  • Use a drop box to secure cash and maintain a clean and organized vehicle
  • Listen to and resolve customer complaints, suggestions, and inquiries
  • Assist with general store cleaning and maintenance
Requirements:
  • Own reliable transportation with valid insurance
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow a map
  • Pass a Criminal Background check and a Motor Vehicle Record check
  • Texas Certified Food Handlers Certificate required
  • Ability to understand and work with numbers
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow a schedule, be on time, and work swiftly
Work Environment:

As a Domino's Delivery Driver, you will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers and colleagues in a busy restaurant setting. You will be required to stand and move on your feet for long periods, which may contribute to back strain and foot problems. Frequent hand sanitization is also expected due to the handling of paper money. The environment is warm, bustling, and potentially noisy.
