- Formal decisions and trade studies coordination and facilitation
- Cost, schedule, and risk actualization and monitoring
- Systems Engineering activities coordination to influence design
- Vehicle level Systems Engineering activities and program milestone reviews support
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering and 6 year's relevant experience
- Systems engineering experience performing requirements evaluation, derivation, and allocation, and translating requirements to viable concepts design solutions within applicable constraints
- Experience developing architecture concepts and evaluating alternatives
- Knowledge of how to balance system design considering system concept of operations (CONOPS), performance, constraints, and logistics concerns
- Knowledge of how to plan, conduct, and document complex trade studies
- Knowledge of how to generate System / Subsystem Design Descriptions and capability assessments per the program statement of work
- Excellent oral and written communication know-how
Preferred Qualifications
- Logical architecture experience, including development of use cases
- Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including SysML methodology and tools like Cameo
- Familiarity with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
- Experience with DOORS requirements management tool
- INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification
- Guidance and mentoring of younger engineers
