  • Systems Engineering activities coordination to influence design
  • Vehicle level Systems Engineering activities and program milestone reviews support

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering and 6 year's relevant experience
  • Systems engineering experience performing requirements evaluation, derivation, and allocation, and translating requirements to viable concepts design solutions within applicable constraints
  • Experience developing architecture concepts and evaluating alternatives
  • Knowledge of how to balance system design considering system concept of operations (CONOPS), performance, constraints, and logistics concerns
  • Knowledge of how to plan, conduct, and document complex trade studies
  • Knowledge of how to generate System / Subsystem Design Descriptions and capability assessments per the program statement of work
  • Excellent oral and written communication know-how

Preferred Qualifications

  • Logical architecture experience, including development of use cases
  • Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including SysML methodology and tools like Cameo
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
  • Experience with DOORS requirements management tool
  • INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification
  • Guidance and mentoring of younger engineers
