About the Job

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder Fabricator to join our team at Aerotek. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MIG welding and heavy steel fabrication tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • MIG welding using dual shield and flux core wire
  • Custom heavy steel fabrication
  • Working from shop blueprints and using basic shop math (fractions, decimals)
  • Operating press brakes and rollers to manipulate metal
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in welding on material 1/4in or thicker
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, weld symbols, fractions, and decimals
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • A weld hood
  • Pass a weld test, blueprint test, and math test
