Stationary Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Stationary Engineer to join our team at Dignity Health's Mercy Hospital of Folsom. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of our hospital's buildings, grounds, and equipment.

• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of our hospital's mechanical systems, including boilers, HVAC, and plumbing.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Respond to emergency situations, including fires and disruptions to utilities, and take prompt action to resolve issues.
• Accurately record and report maintenance activities, including readings and mechanical rounds checks.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and provide excellent patient care.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in building engineering and maintenance, with 2 years in a hospital setting.
• Valid California state driver's license with no moving violations in the past 2 years.
• Ability to maintain and repair a variety of systems, including boiler systems, HVAC systems, and electrical distribution systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
