About the Job

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at STG International. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels of printed products, ensuring proper storage and organization, and performing tasks to maintain an efficient warehouse operation.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain proper inventory levels of printed products by monitoring reorder points and initiating action to replenish stock.
  • Ensure product is stored safely and accurately in the warehouse by implementing effective inventory management systems.
  • Organize inventory with accurate labeling or identifying codes to ensure easy access and identification.
  • Use handheld scanners or paper logs to document any change in inventory and ensure warehouse information is up to date.
  • Verify that accurate quantity and kind of inventory remains stocked in warehouse bins, floors, or shelves.
  • Document inventory and maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Pull or replenish inventory to satisfy organizational needs.
  • Investigate and correct inventory discrepancies.
  • Assist with periodic review of inventory as well as perform physical inventory when required.

Requirements

This role requires excellent knowledge of general/standard administrative/manufacturing operations procedures and methods. The successful candidate must have good oral and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to solve problems related to duties of the job. Experience working in a manufacturing environment is essential, with experience in a fulfillment or printing environment being preferred.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years of relevant administrative/operational support in manufacturing operations or office environment directly related to the duties of the job. Alternatively, demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of work experience may be considered.

The selected candidate will also be required to lift 20-50 pounds occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds constantly. Proficiency with computer systems and learning new software/programs is also essential.
