Job Summary:
The Summit Center is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with children with special needs to help them develop the skills they need to succeed in school and in life.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students with special needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each student
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure that students receive comprehensive support
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in occupational therapy
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a New York State accredited college or university
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in New York State
- Experience working with children with special needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
