Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL Driver to join our team at Rain for Rent. As a Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and installing our temporary liquid handling solutions to customers across the U.S., Canada, and the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a manual transmission truck, including trucks and trailers with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, to pick up, deliver, and unload company pipe and equipment.
  • Represent the Company positively and maintain good relations with customers.
  • Load, secure, and unload materials and equipment with appropriate tools, machinery, and other equipment for scheduled delivery to customers or other Branches.
  • Assist field crew with unloading equipment and installing tanks, pumps, pipes, hoses, fittings, and filtration systems according to specifications and requirements of the job.
  • Complete Job Site Analysis for customer or job sites where work is to be performed.
  • Interact with customers to obtain signatures for work orders and invoicing as required.
  • Keep accurate written records and work orders of all deliveries and pick-ups.
  • Maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) driver's logs according to state and federal regulations.
  • Comply with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and Department of Transportation regulations and requirements.
  • Perform required pre- and post-trip truck inspections and report any needed maintenance/repair to Branch Foreman in writing.
  • Assist in installation of tanks, pumps, pipes, fittings, and related equipment as requested.
  • Complete paperwork in a timely, complete, and acceptable manner.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A Driver's license.
  • Acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle record.
  • Ability to obtain a DOT Physical Card.
  • 18 months of verifiable DOT truck driving experience.
  • Basic knowledge of truck regulations/laws.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Three to six months experience in general mechanic repairs.
  • Experience with winch operation preferred.
