Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Perinatal team at CHRISTUS Health. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to expectant mothers and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide routine and complex care to patients in the labor and delivery department
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in perinatal nursing or a related specialty
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent
  • Current RN license in the state of employment or compact
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • NRP certification
