About the RoleJob Title: Financial Data Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor cloud financial performance using data analytics tools to inform cost optimization initiatives.
- Create and maintain dashboards to visualize key metrics and KPIs, ensuring data-driven decision making.
- Analyze trends and anomalies to support cost optimization and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and data-driven insights.
- Develop and support financial models for cost attribution and optimization.
- Ensure financial tools are user-friendly, scalable, and up to date, driving business efficiency.
- Stay informed on cloud cost management tools and FinOps practices to drive innovation and process improvements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of FinOps practices and frameworks, with experience in public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP preferred; Azure is acceptable).
- Proficiency in data analytics, visualization, and financial modeling tools, including Power BI, Tableau, and/or Apptio BI.
- Hands-on experience with Apptio Cloudability and expertise in Apptio TBM.
- Ability to translate business requirements into actionable product deliverables, with familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Understanding of ETL methods, processes, and standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Apptio TBM and a strong understanding of cloud cost management.
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $110,000 – $120,000 annually, with factors affecting pay including geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
