Job Opportunity at T&M Associates

T&M Associates is seeking a skilled CAD Support Technician 2 to join our Technology Practice Team in Middletown, NJ office. This role requires the candidate to split their time between being in the office and out in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare drawings during the planning, design, and construction phases for various CAD applications (Autodesk & Bentley).
  • Work closely with supervisor and members of the engineering team to ensure drawings are accurate and completed on time.
  • Adhere to required standards (client, company, and project standards).
  • Ensure all drawing files are accurate and neat.
  • Provide a variety of drawings to include; plans, specifications, and sketches.
  • Engage in problem-solving, teamwork, critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and visualization to create accurate and detailed drawings.
  • Assist with creating, updating, and communicating CAD standards and training courses.
  • May include field support when needed.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of CAD experience required.
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in the engineering field or a related field is a plus.
  • Must have AutoCAD, Civil 3D experience.
  • Must be able to assist with designing and follow appropriate mark-ups.
  • Candidates must be adept at working collaboratively while building strong working relationships with our clients and staff members.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work with peers and senior management and be a team player.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, writing, and verbal communication skills are required.
