Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to see and read information, labels, and assess patient needs. The employee must be able to verbally communicate and hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately. Manual dexterity is required to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. The employee must be able to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients and navigate crowded and busy rooms.
