Job Summary

Serve food and beverages to guests in a fast-paced environment. Set tables according to event type and service standards. Answer questions about menu items and communicate with the kitchen about menu questions, wait times, and product availability. Record transactions in the MICROS system and check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each course. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and complete closing duties, including restocking and turning off lights. Present accurate checks to guests and process payments. Follow company and safety policies, report accidents, and complete safety training. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Welcome guests according to company standards and address their service needs. Develop positive working relationships with others and support the team to reach common goals.

Responsibilities

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience required.
