Job Summary:

Solomon Page is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Labor and Delivery Specialist. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as code blues and obstetric emergencies
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements:

  • Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
