Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Oil and Gas Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mechanical systems and machinery used in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and analyze mechanical systems and equipment for oil and gas extraction and processing.
  • Oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment such as pumps, compressors, and turbines.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize the performance of mechanical systems.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, maintenance manuals, and project reports.
  • Provide technical support and guidance during project planning and execution phases.
  • Stay abreast of technological advancements and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or closely related discipline.
  • Master's Degree is preferred.
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience in engineering and prior mechanical design experience.
  • Professional Engineering License required.
  • Proficient knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, and the application to project work-related issues.
  • Experience with building and infrastructure planning, design, and construction management; including active involvement in a variety of rehabilitation and new design projects.
  • Working knowledge with process and concepts for reducing and eliminating the use or generation of hazardous substances/greenhouse gas.
  • Working knowledge of relevant mechanical system and construction laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.

The salary for this position is expected to range between $85,000 to $130,000. Factors that may be used to determine actual salary include education (or applicable experience), training, job location, competencies relevant to the role, and internal equity.
