Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria, California. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care, working collaboratively with our dedicated healthcare team to deliver exceptional service.

**About This Position**
As a CNA, you will actively participate in the systems functions and activities of the unit/department, communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Your excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, will ensure that patients receive clear and concise information about their care. You will establish and maintain effective working relationships with your colleagues, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.

**Key Responsibilities**
• Operate IVAC thermometer vital check machine blood pressure cuff
• Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor patients' medical conditions, reporting any changes or concerns to nursing staff
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient information
• Participate in hospital-wide initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes

**Required Qualifications**
• Current CPR Certification - AHA (CT CPRBLS)
• Current Certification in Nursing Assistant (CT CNA)
• Six (6) months recent hospital experience as CNA (preferred)

**Compensation**
The salary for this position is estimated to be between $23.00 - $24.89 per hour, based on location and industry standards.
