Job Title: Ophthalmic Diagnostic Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Ophthalmic Diagnostic Technician to join our team at Center For Sight Eva I Liang MD PC. As an Ophthalmic Diagnostic Tester, you will be responsible for performing various diagnostic functions to assist physicians with diagnosing patients' conditions. Your primary duties will include operating diagnostic equipment, acquiring accurate and reliable images and measurements, and uploading tests into the Electronic Medical Records system.

Responsibilities:
  1. Communicate with patients using respect and professionalism
  2. Verify patient demographics and enter data into diagnostic machines
  3. Acquire accurate and reliable images and measurements on diagnostic equipment
  4. Upload acquired tests into the Electronic Medical Records system
  5. Troubleshoot instruments as necessary

Requirements:
  1. High school diploma or GED, some college preferred
  2. One to two years' experience as an Ophthalmic Assistant preferred but not required
  3. Bilingual preferred, not required
  4. Requires ability to maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information
  5. Requires strong computer competency including the ability to learn new programs quickly

Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $55,000 per year
