Stanford Health Care is actively recruiting for 2 full-time Advanced Practice Providers (DNPs, NPs, PAs) to work in Oncology with a sub-specialty in Head/Neck Medical Oncology.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to build expertise/knowledge/skills in general medicine as well as in the Head/Neck Medical Oncology specialty. As an Advanced Practice Provider at Stanford Health Care, you will have the opportunity to work at the top of your license/scope, transitioning over time from working in co-shared settings with physicians to treating patient panels independently.

About the Role:

  • Evaluate and treat patients with acute, chronic complaints, and health maintenance concerns related to oncology.
  • Conduct complete histories and perform pertinent physical exams.
  • Administer, order, furnish, and prescribe medications as necessary.
  • Order diagnostic tests, including radiology examinations and nursing services.
  • Recognize situations requiring immediate physician attention and initiate life-saving procedures when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
  • Graduate of an NP program accredited by the National League of Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
  • Licenses and Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), NP Furnishing Number (NPF), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification.

Estimated Salary Range: $86.41 - $114.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
