Key Responsibilities- Provide Holistic Patient Care: Work closely with surgeons and anesthesia care providers to deliver comprehensive care to patients undergoing surgical interventions.
- Maintain Aseptic Techniques: Utilize universal precautions, correct hand washing techniques, and maintain aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work collaboratively with nurses, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient surgical procedures.
- Manage Surgical Equipment: Operate and maintain surgical equipment, including tables and lights, to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
- Conduct Pre- and Post-Operative Care: Provide pre- and post-operative care to patients, including positioning, preparing, and recovering from surgery.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of current experience in an Operating Room setting or current operating room nursing certification.
- Education: Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency.
- Licensure: Unrestricted registered nurse license from any state (United States).
- Competitive Salary: $57.29 per hour.
