Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in Olympia Fields, Illinois.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound procedures on patients, including abdominal, obstetric, and vascular exams
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual needs and medical histories
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technologies and techniques
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
  • Current certification in ultrasound technology (e.g., RDMS, RDCS)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
