Adjunct Faculty

The School of Engineering at The College of New Jersey is seeking talented adjunct faculty to teach subjects in Biomedical Engineering, including Bioinstrumentation, Biomaterials, Biomechanics, Mass and Energy biosystems, Biofluids, Biotransport, and Physiological Modeling.
Advanced Elective TopicsThe Biomedical Engineering Department is also accepting applications for instructors in advanced elective topics for 3rd and 4th year students. Examples of such courses include Advanced cardiovascular fluid dynamics, Injury biomechanics, Artificial organs, Biomedical imaging, and topics in tissue engineering.
These advanced elective topics courses include a design hour wherein the instructor will guide students in hands-on, literature-based, and/or computational design projects that complement the core lecture material.
Requirements- PhD in an appropriate field relevant to the proposed topic
- Master's degree and/or specialized experience will be considered and encouraged to apply
- Previous teaching experience, industrial experience, or professional licensure is a plus
We work with our adjunct faculty to schedule teaching that fits into work and personal schedules.

For elective courses, provide a proposed course topic. Please include the names and contact information for at least three references; teaching references are preferred, but technical references are acceptable in consideration for classes within demonstrated expertise.
