Responsibilities- Provide routine and complex care to patients in accordance with treatment plans, utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, incorporating evidence-based practice and patient-centered care principles.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and promote a culture of safety and quality.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely information exchange.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of combined experience required in Medsurg and Telemetry.
- 5 years of experience preferred.
- BLS, ACLS, and RN License in state of employment or compact required.
- PALS required within 30 days of hire at CHRISTUS Children's Hospital or SPOHN.
- De-escalation training is required within 30 days of hire at SPOHN.
