Job Title:

A travel speech language pathologist is required for a temporary position in Urbana, Illinois.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is $110,000 to $130,000 per year, based on a 13-week assignment with 40 hours worked per week. The pay package includes tax-free stipends for meal, incidental, and housing expenses.

About the Job:

This speech language pathologist will be responsible for assessing patient needs, planning and implementing care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions. They will provide skilled speech therapy services in accordance with physician orders, set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop reliable communication and swallowing skills, and teach individuals how to strengthen muscles or use compensatory strategies to swallow without choking or inhaling food or liquid.

Requirements:
  • Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP
  • At least one year of professional working experience
  • Must hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current CPR certification
  • Must have CCC's
