Mortgage Department Head

Harrison Gray Search & Consulting is seeking a seasoned Mortgage Department Manager to lead our client's mortgage lending team in Uvalde, TX. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the mortgage process, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving business growth.

• Develop and implement efficient mortgage lending workflows, ensuring timely and accurate loan processing.
• Manage a team of mortgage professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure exceptional customer service and quality loan products.
• Monitor and analyze department performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements to drive business results.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and market developments, applying this knowledge to inform business decisions and drive growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to develop and execute business strategies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining a strong understanding of mortgage regulations and industry standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including realtors, builders, and new home sales representatives, to drive business growth and retention.
• Monitor customer experience, ensuring timely and effective communication throughout the loan process.

• 5+ years of mortgage management and lending experience, with a proven track record of success.
• Bachelor's degree in finance or business, or equivalent experience in the industry.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive business results and improve processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
