- We are seeking a dedicated professional to perform medical work relating to the evaluation and treatment of newborns, infants, children, adolescents, and male and female adults.
- The selected candidate will be responsible for organizing, planning, staffing, evaluating, and administering physician activities within our Primary Care Division.
- A key aspect of this role is advising the Health Commissioner and Assistant Commissioners on various health-related issues in a timely manner.
- The successful candidate will conduct orientation of physicians relevant to clinic procedures, medical protocol, and public health procedures.
- This position also involves maintaining professional records of physician staff and collaborating with the Primary Health Care Nursing Supervisor and clinic administrators.
- The selected candidate will coordinate studies and surveys with technical staff to ensure quality assurance, utilization review, and overall improvement of medical programs.
- Serving as a liaison on matters pertaining to communicable disease and medical issues with outside agencies is another critical responsibility.
- The individual in this role will establish standards and prepare procedures relating to child health in areas of well-child care, school health programs, and immunization programs.
- Furthermore, they will participate in the development of the Primary Health Care Division's budget and contribute to strategic planning.
