Position Summary

The College of Engineering & Sciences at Purdue University is seeking an Academic & Student Success Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our academic advising team, you will work closely with students to develop their academic and career goals, monitor their progress, and provide guidance on university processes. Your expertise in academic advising and retention strategies will help us achieve our mission of empowering transformational change in our students and community.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work with students to develop academic and career plans, including four-year graduation plans and course suggestions.
  • Monitor academic progress, maintain student records, and process graduation audits.
  • Act as a liaison between students and university services, faculty, and staff.
  • Provide outreach to unregistered and at-risk students, and assist with registration and course enrollment.
  • Review transfer credit and help make admission decisions for select programs.
  • Supervise and implement a peer-mentoring program.
