Job Summary

Sysco is seeking a reliable and skilled Local Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team. As a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a tractor-trailer and manually unloading/delivering various products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule.

You will build relationships with each customer using your positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • 21+ years of age
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English
  • Ability to lift, push or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds repeatedly
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as business needs require
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year customer delivery experience
  • 6 months hand cart/hand truck experience
  • 6 months Food and Beverage experience
  • 2 years consistent work history
