Job Summary

Delta-T Group Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will provide everyday support to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, helping them with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. You will also assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises as needed, ensure proper diet and nutrition, and assist with feeding if required. Additionally, you will follow individualized behavior support plans to address specific needs and challenges, use positive reinforcement and behavioral techniques to manage and improve behavior, and assist with the development and maintenance of life skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting. You will also provide educational and recreational activities that promote personal growth and independence, ensure the cleanliness and organization of the group home environment, and assist with household chores such as cooking, laundry, and cleaning. Furthermore, you will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of individuals' progress, incidents, and any changes in their condition, advocate for the needs and preferences of individuals, ensuring their rights and choices are respected, and provide emotional support and encouragement to foster a positive and supportive environment.

Requirements

* Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent
* Willingness and ability to provide direct care and supportive services as needed
* Valid Driver's License
* CPR/First Aid Certification
