About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Atria Senior Living. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain public areas and resident apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios, and windows.
  • Perform all housekeeping duties, including distributing laundered articles and linens, changing beds, cleaning public restrooms, and replenishing supplies as needed.
  • Wash and dry resident laundry and textiles in provided appliances, fold and/or hang laundry appropriately, and distribute laundered articles and linens.
  • Maintain resident laundry areas, including mopping floors, washing walls, and checking lint traps regularly.
  • Wash windows at reasonable heights throughout the community as requested.
  • Keep utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition.
  • Disinfect and sanitize equipment and supplies.
  • Stock the cleaning cart with supplies.
  • Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area(s).
  • Work with maintenance to ensure that the trash and dumpster areas are clean.
  • Request maintenance work orders for any maintenance repairs needed.
  • Report resident issues or changes in health or living status promptly.
Requirements
  • Must successfully complete all Company specified training programs.
  • Able to operate cleaning equipment such as irons, washers, dryers, brooms, mops, vacuums, etc.
  • Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed.
  • Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
  • Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
  • General knowledge of sanitation.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $15.69/hr - $18.04/hr, dependent on prior work history and experience. Our benefits package includes paid holidays and PTO, community employees may receive annual anniversary rewards, and employees may be eligible to receive an Annual Scores Reward of $500 (Full Time) or $250 (Part Time) based on community survey results.
