Job Title: Automotive ADAS Technician

At The Boyd Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Automotive ADAS Technician to join our team. As an ADAS Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic testing and analysis to determine the root cause of vehicle issues
  • Program and calibrate advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) to ensure optimal performance
  • Repair and replace wiring and electrical components as needed
  • Communicate with shop representatives to determine testing and analysis requirements
  • Keep inventory of stock and communicate with support staff for needed orders and verification of order receipts
  • Write, print, and email service invoices
  • Collect signatures or payments for work performed
  • Deliver completed invoices and payments to the office in an orderly manner
  • Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventative maintenance, and advising management of repairs
  • Collaborate with teammates to schedule and complete jobs
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Knowledge of OE scan tools and ability to learn new tools as needed
  • Knowledge of wiring repair procedures and ability to service A/C systems
  • Possesses diagnostic skills in the automotive trade and basic computer knowledge
  • Willing and able to update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications, and the like
  • High school degree or GED equivalent and 4+ years of relevant automotive/electronic technician experience
