Position: Patent Attorney | Biotech Expertise Required

About Us:
We are a leading firm seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patent Attorney to enhance our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of patent law and a strong technical foundation in biotechnology.

Compensation:
$175,000 - $275,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:
1. Draft and prosecute patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
2. Oversee and manage the company’s patent portfolio, ensuring all patents are maintained and enforced effectively.
3. Provide comprehensive legal counsel on patent-related issues, including patentability assessments, infringement analysis, validity checks, and freedom-to-operate evaluations.
4. Represent the organization in Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) proceedings, including inter partes reviews and post-grant reviews.

Qualifications:
Must have a background in Biotechnology and hold an undergraduate degree in molecular biology, genetics, microbiology, immunology, biochemistry, or a related field.
