Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering coordinated nursing care for patients within a patient care unit and managing day-to-day clinical activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Conduct thorough assessments and identify potential risks to patient safety.
- Implement evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes and reduce readmissions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure clear understanding of care plans and progress.
Requirements:
- 2 years of hospital acute care-PCU experience
- Associates Degree from an accredited school
- Active State Registered Nurse License
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current AHA Advanced Life Support (ACLS)
- Current AHA PALS (If applicable)
- Current AHA NIHSS (if applicable)
