As a Behavioral Therapist at Piece by Piece Autism Centers, you will play a crucial role in bringing high-quality behavioral therapy to communities that lack access to services for children with autism.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a caseload of 6-10 clients, assessing their progress and developing new treatment goals
  • Conduct initial client assessments and write behavior intervention plans and individualized treatment plans
  • Use assessments such as the VB-MAPP, AFLS, PEAK, and/or EFL to evaluate client progress and develop new treatment objectives
  • Consult with caregivers monthly to provide parent training and progress updates
  • Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) during weekly consultation sessions
  • Train new therapists on ABA principles in preparation for their RBT exam

Requirements:

  • Active BCBA or BCaBA certification from the BACB
  • Current and valid CPR and First Aid certification from either the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • Clear background check
  • Able to assume and maintain various postures (e.g., kneeling, sitting, squatting, standing) for extended periods
  • Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Catalyst and Central Reach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace apps (Drive, Docs, Gmail)
  • Safety Care training

Compensation:

We offer competitive salaries, starting at $70,000 for BCaBAs and $73,000 for BCBAs, depending on experience. Additional benefits include one work-from-home day per week, four hours of flexible time each month, HABA membership, CEU stipend, paid professional conference attendance, billable bonus opportunities, and more.
